HVAC Maintenance Plans in Tekoa
We check your air conditioner in spring and your furnace in fall, before you need them. You get a cleaned, tested system, a written list of what we found, and lower prices if something needs fixing. No guessing about when it was last looked at.
A spring visit and a fall visit, every year
A maintenance plan puts your heating and cooling on a fixed schedule. Each spring we get the AC ready for summer, and each fall we get the furnace or heat pump ready for winter. Each visit is a full tune-up, not a quick look and a sticker.
Most breakdowns we see started small: a weakening capacitor, a dirty flame sensor, a drain line starting to clog. Caught at a tune-up, they're cheap to fix. Caught on the first freezing night of the year, they mean a cold house and a rushed repair.
Plans begin at $14.99 a month and cover tune-ups, lower repair prices and priority scheduling. You know what you'll pay, and you know when we'll be there.
What the plan covers
Spring cooling tune-up
We clean the outdoor condenser coil, check refrigerant pressures, and test the capacitor and contactor. We clear the condensate drain so it does not back up in July. Then we measure how cold the air coming out actually is.
Fall heating tune-up
We clean the burners and flame sensor, test the igniter, and inspect the heat exchanger for cracks. We check gas pressure, venting and carbon monoxide levels. This is the visit that matters most before winter.
Heat pumps and mini-splits
Heat pumps get both checkups since they work year round. We test the defrost cycle and the reversing valve. On ductless mini-splits we clean the filters and coils on each indoor head.
Filter and thermostat check
We check or change your filter and show you which size to buy. We make sure the thermostat reads the right temperature and calls for heat and cooling when it should.
Repair discounts
If we find a part that needs replacing, plan members pay less for the repair. You always get a written quote before any work begins.
Priority scheduling
When something goes wrong, plan members move up the list. That matters most during the first heat wave or the first hard freeze, when every company is busy.
Signs your system is due for regular care
You can't remember the last tune-up
If it has been more than a year, dust and wear have built up. A plan takes the remembering off your list.
Your energy bills keep creeping up
A dirty coil or weak burner makes the system run longer for the same comfort. Cleaning and adjusting usually brings run times back down.
The system turns on and off a lot
Short cycling wears out parts fast. It often points to an overheating furnace, a bad sensor or a low refrigerant charge.
New noises at startup
A boom when the furnace lights, a click that repeats, a hum from the outdoor unit. These are early warnings we can usually fix on a regular visit.
Dust and pollen on the outdoor unit
Field dust at harvest and cottonwood fluff in early summer pack into condenser fins. A clogged coil runs hot and strains the compressor.
How a plan visit goes
- 1
We set your dates
We call ahead to book the spring and fall visits at a time that works for you. You don't have to chase us.
- 2
We start with you
Our tech asks how the system has been running and if anything seems off. Small things you noticed help us know where to look.
- 3
We work the checklist
We go through every item for your type of equipment, inside and outside. Most visits take about an hour per system.
- 4
We show you what we found
You get a written summary, with photos of anything worn or failing. If a repair makes sense, you get a written quote with your plan discount. Nothing gets fixed without your okay.
- 5
We leave it clean
We pick up after ourselves and note what to watch before the next visit.
What sets the price of your plan
Plan pricing depends on what you have in your home and how much of it we look after. A single furnace and AC costs less to cover than a house with a heat pump and three mini-split heads. We tell you the full price on the phone before you sign up.
- Number of systems
- Each furnace, air conditioner or heat pump adds time to every visit. Homes with two systems, like an upstairs and a downstairs unit, cost more to cover.
- Type of equipment
- Heat pumps need both seasonal checks. Ductless systems add time for each indoor head we clean.
- Age and condition
- Older equipment often takes longer to clean and test. We will tell you honestly if a unit is near the end of its life.
- Repairs are separate
- The plan covers tune-ups. Any parts or repairs are quoted in writing first, and your member discount comes off that price.
Maintenance plan questions
Something not covered here? (509) 204-1886
Is a plan worth it if my system is fairly new?
Yes, in most cases. New systems still collect dust, and drain lines still clog. Regular tune-ups keep efficiency where it was on day one and help you catch install or wear problems early.
What if something breaks between visits?
Call us. We offer 24/7 emergency HVAC repair, and plan members get priority scheduling. There are no emergency or after-hours fees, and your repair discount still applies.
Does the tune-up fix the problems you find?
The tune-up covers cleaning, adjusting, testing and small things like tightening connections. If a part has failed or is about to, we give you a written quote first. You decide if and when to do it.
When do the visits happen?
We aim for spring before cooling season and early fall before the first cold snap. That way the AC is ready for summer heat and the furnace is checked before you turn it on for the year.
Do you cover heat pumps and ductless mini-splits?
Yes. Heat pumps get a check before both seasons since they heat and cool. For mini-splits we clean each indoor head and test the outdoor unit. If you are thinking about adding one, see our Heat Pumps and Ductless Mini-Splits pages.
